create letters top of arc problem ?

Regardless of the value I put in the arc radius box, MCX overrides me and uses the radius of the arc I select. Anyone else see this.?

Just tried it and it worked right for me.

How are you selecting your arc? If I just click on the edge of the arc, I see what your seeing, if I select the center of the arc it places the text where I want it.

you need to pick the center of the arc not just the arc.

ahhhhhh, I see said the blind man.

 

-If you pick the arc, and let auto cursor grab the center, then your radius setting is overwritten to the radius of said arc. Text is tangent to arc.

 

-If you select the point in the center of your arc, then whatever value you had in the arc radius box is actually used.
