Geom selectionn for HS toolpath

I have a Solid and surafces that I want to add to a HS toolpath.

 

If I select ALL then Tick Surafces and hold Control key Solids it only selects the surafces?

 

If I select the Blue box with a green tick in it (above the ribbon bar) select the solid I can not add also the surfaces?

You have to do your surfaces first David.

 

Pick your surfaces THEN hit the solids selection icon and then choose whether you'll add solid surfaces or the entire solid.
