The best 5-axis machine verification add-on?

Can anyone recommend a 5-axis verification add-on or software that works in conjuction with MCX that verifies actual g-gode???

There sre a few out there, I was just wondering which one is better than the rest.

Vericut and Predator come to mind

 

Vericut is the more robust software of the 2

We are currently running a 30 day trial

on Predator Virtual CNC.

We have modeled up our LeBlond/Makino H1516 5x

and have it "virtually" running a large Titanium casting. Working quite well....

The more detailed your machine and fixturing are,

the more POWER you need. (Get me a Super computer!!)

Vericut is more powerful, but you better have a very large wallet....

Running Predator here. It works good. V7 just came out but has some issues. We are running V5.

I've been here for 4 months now and we have Pedator but I have yet to see it work. Apparently there are "issues".

I've owned Predator for five years and have been very happy with it.

V5 came out a couple of years ago and thats what I'm using. They just released V7 and I've been playing with it a little.

The trouble Mastercam had getting X out is nothing

compared to what's been going on with PVCNC V7.

V5 is good software and worth every penny.

The verdict is still out on V7.

The qualitiy of the graphic is way better in V7,

but there was some loss of functionality that I'm really not happy about.

Gcode did you ever play with V6 of VCNC that was out last year?

I have it works well.

I had a couple of the beta versions, but I never got them running well enough to do anything.

I'm still running the July 2004 version of V5.
