If you password lock them, MAKE SURE YOU MAKE NOTE OF THE PASSWORD SOMEWHERE SO THAT IT CAN BE ACCESSED(yes the yeling was intentional)!!!!! Oh, and before you do that, do an SRAM back up (when powering up, put your Flash Card in the slot first), pres the 2 right soft-keys until a screen you've likely never seen, select the Backup Option using the up/down arrow softkeys. You want to select the CNC/CARD option. After that, select end, and end again, and you machine should rebot. Now after all that, do a complete parameter backup, macro variable back up and anything else you think you may need.

The reason I'm saying all this is because if you loose the password, the only way to fix it is to have FANUC come in and basically flash the memory. and if you have everything, then it's only a couple hours to restore everything.

its in edit mode already!

You can loose the 9000 programs without changing the parameter if you press delete and put the control power on. Been there done that smile.gif

Press delete and keep pressing it and at the same time put the control power on. You can release delete when the control has fully started. This clears the program memory and also 9000 programs. On a second thought you might have to enable parameter write for this to work.
