Why no trochoidal in Rest Rough?

To the "head honchos" at CNC....Why isn't there the trochoidal option in the Rest Rough operation? I do like fireworks as it gets close to the 4th o July, but I try to avoid them with my tools. Any ideas on if this could be added? Maybe I'm missing something here?

Not sure what you are asking. The surface high speed rest roughing has it. Also the surface rough restmill has highspeed transitions as well.

On my X2 (MR1SP1) there is no Trochoidal option in HST Roughing: Rest Rouging. Trochoidal dialog box is replaced with "Rest Material" just under Cut Parameters. Is it still supposed to do it (where I used to edit things in the registry editor)

There is no Trochoidal option in the ones Rob was talking about, he was talking about high speed transtions and this not the same.

K yeah. I always seem to forget that it doesnt have it until I start cutting. I could instead of going from a 6mm tool to a 2mm tool, toss a 3 or 4mm in between, but I know the tools can handle the extra material, but as i'm sure you know, they just don't like when they get tossed into the corners. Now if only we could invent tools that never wore out
