post no longer outputting tool comments

Just ran conversion for a mmd to x3 from x2.

 

now I don't get tool name outputs at each toolchange.??? any ideas?

What does your ptoolcomment section look like?

Open up the MMD file under settings, and under the NC output under the control def and see if it is toggled on. Also there is another place that has to be toggled on too. Under the op manager properties, file on the bottom has to be toggles on.

Robert, those toggles turn on/off operation and machine comments, not tool comments.

 

John here is my ptoolcomment. It looks the same as my other posts that output tool info.

UPDATE. I FOUND IT! it was the tool_info. it was switched to 2. the x3 conversion did this!
