milltronics post modification help

we are haveing a couple of issues with our milltronics post first off it does not shut cuttercomp off when it is supposed to example being.

the next problem is tapping here is an example in this one g84 needs to be g88 and it needs feed per rev or .0769 for this tap how do i make this change

change this line in your post for pitch

use_pitch : 1 #0 = Use feed for tapping, 1 = Use pitch for tapping

 

change this line for G88

sg84 : "G84" #tap - right hand

 

not too sure about the cutter comp thing

maybe somebody else can chime in on it

what post are you using?

 

there is a milltronics centurion 6 machine def available from your reseller ready to go.

i am using mpcent6 and that is what i get

one more thing is there a way to use ijk instead of r?

Check in your post for the following

 

pccomp # Cutter comp output

if ccomp$ = 2, sccomp, tloffno$

if ccomp$ = 3, sccomp, tloffno$

sccomp # Insert this line if it is not there

 

I put it in our post to take care of the same thing

 

Always backup your post before modifications in case something goes wrong

thanks guys got the g88 fixed but cant seem to find the line for the pitch I am going to try the cuttercomp thing now

the name of the post should be:

 

MILLTRONICS CENTURION_6 4X MILL.PST

 

and it has two tap cycles, tap, and rigid tap which will give the G88. if you give a peck value other than zero it outputs the Q value for peck tapping. It also does cutter comp on/off correctly, but any post should do that. I've never heard of mpcent6.pst V9 had a mpcent5.pst.
