Oi tool / pot table

Working on a ganesh mill with an Oi control with a side mount changer. can't find a tool # / pot # table anywhere in the control. ideas fanuc guys?

tool life mgmt table? can't even get that to turn on.

In the Komo VMC that we have with an Oi control the tool register is found in the machine diagnostics page.

 

Diag. #300 - spindle tool

Diag. #301 - pocket 1 tool

Diag. #302 - pocket 2 tool

etc.

System, parameter, > arrow until you see PMC, or PMC PRM, something like that, press that, then look for Data. You'll more than likely have to hunt for it. Press Zoom which should make funding it a hare easier.

Funny thing, I talked to a ganesh tech today and he was asking me why I needed to know what tool was in there, and telling me I was crazy for needing to know that.

 

Get's better; the machine's got a 24 changer and he's also telling me I can only use tool #'s 1-24. So in a 100 tool library, 4 different tools share each #! I know that's a setting too.
