this is not going to work with standard cable configuration. DNC-B is special to okuma and allows you to restart from the control along with many other things.

I do not have the setup for it here you need to contact your applications guy for okuma.

you will have to go to parameters page and type in CMPS it will show you the parameters for the dncb baud and all that.

also you have to flip both switches up and have green lights if not power off and back on.

yes mazak uses the mitsubishi meldas control underneath there face

I have the add on for the catia translator I was wondering if anyone knows if you can translate in the imbeded notes or man readables?

I only get the geometry but some notes show up.

i will try, i use screen/copyscreen image to clipboard out of mastercam that way you just get the view port.

what software will let you save to pdf?

ok I run the toolpath with multipass

then save the tool path as geometry

then rechain the 2 toolpath lines

turn off the multi

turn on the depth

and bam there you go

is there a way to save a screen shot of setup info and instead of printing and scanning into pdf just save it into a pdf format?

I am with the DMU, I have heard nothing but good about matsuura though! until our company bought 2 in with a cell HPLUS - 300 there are the biggest piles I have ever seen. I am not kidding in 18 months we have not had both machines run at the same time for more then 2 weeks. And Selway really doesnt seem to be very responsive to the issue either.
