ok if you look at the solid in the front view as the leg comes down and rotates to the 270 side I fould like to stitch all the way around the corner from B0 to B270
-
ok there is a zipped file also!
-
No I didn't the file is 11.4mb should I?
-
It is pretty big took about 4 minutes to put on the ftp site
-
-
I am putting it on the ftp site under mcx HN3938-19-20.mcx
-
I have a part that comes down in the y axis then makes a 90 degree bend to the 270 side like a twist
-
just wondering how to use the b axis to stitch
i have never had a fuul 4th always indexed stitched and so on.
what type of toolpath do you use and how do you get it to use the 4th

Machinability
The machinability rating of this alloy is 20. (Where Alloy 360 FC Brass is 100).

Good call on that one Colin!
-
David they are in your work offset page same as your G54 just page down a few then you should see them If you have the option
-
comp the tool!
-
you may be able to turn off the G15 inbetween G17, G18, G19 and turn back on at first G1
I think it is just alarming out because look ahead is on during plane change.
Check with your machinetool distributor Ellison I think for Oregon. Ask for Vince
-
yes, without the G15 it will not check points.
-
oh also I dont think the G15 can change planes between G17, G18, G19 although I am not sure on that.
-
you can change your parameter to unclamp max feedrate
-
Maybe you can have someone sign a confediatality agreement to help you
-
Colin that is how Im doing it now, just added it to this thread for another Idea
and thanks for your help!
-
just wanted to bring this back up check new thread
you can create curve slice but you need to have a cplane at the z depth you want to cut works great
