you must be ramping in and out, is this just a contour tool path? 3d or 2d

We use the small one and sized it to a face plate.
we have locators on the face plate for different offsets

we turn off center but instead of a 4 jaw we use a modified technogrip which is a dovetail type fixture.
It requires preping the material before you use it

cx contouring I think you would need a Y axis to be off center

I think mazak quality has improved but okuma has always been a high quality machine in respects to the japanese models. I have worked in applications for both and I think okuma wins.
Alot depends on the support you get in your area also. Before you buy give them a demo part and have them each run one. compare speed, finish, and overall performance.
