ok x form project pick the wire frame project to z level seems to work
-
I think you would need a # in front of the 3 also
but I am not sure if you can verify 2 numbers in that way
Usualy seperate
IF[#120EQ1]GOTO1
N0001
IF[#3EQ1]GOTO2
N0002
then carry on
-
88matt are you using ver 10 ?
I do not see create>curve>project
-
do you have Macro capability?
You can just say Z=#100 or which ever numbers you have available.
whats the control?
-
ok I did this
ptlchg_com #Tool change common blocks
pcom_moveb
c_mmlt$ #Multiple tool subprogram call
#ptoolcomment
n$ = t$*100
wcs_no:0
wcs_no = p_wcs
pbld, n$, no_spc, wcs_no, e$
still just get N2600
-
thanks John I will try that
Crazy, I know the # doesn't read I just turned it off while Im working on it
-
I am not having any luck
here is the code
ptlchg_com #Tool change common blocks
pcom_moveb
c_mmlt$ #Multiple tool subprogram call
#ptoolcomment
n$ = t$+p_wcs #*100
#pbld, n$, no_spc, p_wcs, e$
I blocked the n$ first time and added your line under now I have it blocked and tried this
-
Ill give it a try
-
I got the counter working with the N number and tool number
Start of tool 26 posts like this
N2600
I can't figure out how to get it to add the offset
like T26 offset G54
N2654
any ideas?
-
Also guys good idea on the 3d chaining then switch back to 2d contour works great also
-
Nice job everyone, thanks so much for the help.
bulletman nice one on the trim solid
-
yes it is a parameter setting.
-
center rotation is a greta way to program, but if you have very tight tolerance on 2nd op multiple parts you will need to create seperate coordinates
-
I was just hoping there was a trick for this
-
I dont know 2 of used the c hook with the file it is really bad. Try the part on the ftp site
-
That is exactly why I used that part for an example there is no face around the entire solid
-
Thank alot, works great!
-
ok i did the c-hook but it did a terrible job try it
-
How do I use the c-hook never have before?
-
It is very helpful to have all you tombs drawn up if you are progamminng from center rotation. Be careful and make sure you WCS is top and you t/c planes are front right and left or other angles as neede. On the 2nd op you will have to go with back view rotated and set a new wcs to the top of that view so you can use front right left etc.

Lets say I have a hudred circles on the screen but I wnt to change them all from .5 diamter to .75 any quick ways?
-
Yes this is a simple part but it was just for example
I just thought there might be a couple click method of doing this now with X
-
if you look at the file on the ftp site, I created a dark blue line on level 1000 2 line horiz 2 lines vert and then 4 fillets. I want a way to create that profile without having to do that or if you can do it with tool path like kannon
-
I posted it at the FTP site under MCX folder 2DCONT.mcx
