It might be something in your post

The good thing about this thread for me is, all along I thought when I was having these issues it was something I was doing wrong. I guess I'm not as big of an idiot as I though I was.

The only things simular to those materials I WEDM is Ampco 18. The stuff burns fast and clean. I use the same cut conditions that I use for copper. I'm cutting it today as a matter of fact.

We have 2 Mitsubishi's. One of them is 1998 model and its still cuts +/- .00002 all day long. They have top notch phone support for both service and tech issues.

I had to delete key {3A6C4379-6FDD-4525-B28B-5AFCE93BCF63} 2 places from the registry for mcfsw. And key {9869D25D-C67E-4282-B4D0-DB6218BC94D5} 2 places for just regular mcx9How
How do I go about doing this?

I have downloaded x9, try and install a installation manager box pops up and only gives me repair or uninstall? Doesn't matter If i try to repair or uninstall neither one are successful. they both create a log file if that helps? I did have x9 public beta loaded, but I uninstalled, deleted folders and removed registry keys before I tried to install latest x9.

you don't say material but a magnet on top before the cut is finished might work
I agree. We use rare earth magnets

I've been running Mitsubishi EDM's for 20 years and very happy with them. We haven't puchased a new one in quite a long time. I would guess around the 140k??

Another option would be to fabricate new jaws yourself and leave the Kurt jaws alone.

I use them often. Sometimes I use them to avoid an area (when I'm too lazy to make a boundary)

I use "sort options" as a quick and easy way to avoid clamps and part features. After several operations using the same sort, I realized a different sort would work better. Is there a way to changes all operations "sort option" at the same time or do I need to change each individual operation one at a time?

If you're looking to save some money try http://www.lakeshorecarbide.com/ . Good prices without a lot of compromise.

For simple changes you can analyze an entity and type in changes.

it's happened to me a few times.

Where do I set my defaults to ask before overwrite when posting? Just one of my control definitions is doing it?

We've been looking for a quality lathe. The Weilers look nice. Are they pricey?

In Inventor it warns you if you try to change the print without changing the model. We used to have a problem with one of are designers taking shortcuts and not updating model. That person is not longer in the engineering dept..

we used Mic6 on our Haas VF3 mainly because it was 24" x 40" x 1.5" plate and that would be a lot of weight added that we didn't need, the nice thing about Al is that its light, it is cast so it does actually dampen vibration, and if you have a tool hit it, it most likely won't damage the tool
Good point

If I'm in the middle of programming a part and I need to switch to a different part. I use lock sometimes as a bookmark to remind myself what I was working on when I return to the unfinished program.
