  1. quote: Its faster than opening each individual parameters page for each tool. but i have different coolant settings for some of the tools it would just be nice for them to import how they were exported but a good tip
  2. [rant on] just exported a bunch of ops, then imported them for the next part and sure enough the coolant options for the tools didnt stick so now i have to open each operation with a 3-4 sec delay and select the tool so the coolant updates i think its time to start creating master files delete the part and merge the new part in so it is just how i want it unless im doing something wrong here this coolant issue for import/export is getting old if i export something i want it to import just how i exported it [rant off]
  3. quote: I can't believe I've missed out on that! WOW! and your teaching mastercam j/k

  11. quote: I just figured out that if you import a toolgroup of paths that have all the coolant on, every path after importing comes in with the coolannt off. dont get me started with importing ops it seems to be ok with MU2 but i have not imported a lot of ops yet to give a good answer to that i had some issues importing with coolant sticking but i use tools coolant and on some of my ops i use V9 style coolant because it wasnt sticking so i dont think there is a switch did you save them with coolant on?
  12. how did you force the code M08 or M8? are you sure you have the correct path for the post picked?

nope dont work very well with our style of parts
  17. if you are using cutter comp and dont have those points in there it will apply cutter comp along the entire cut and then there is no cutter comp off move
  18. quote: why would I need to take .001 off the cutter to get it to post out arcs with the filter on? i dont know why it just helped me in the past quote: you have your slider set to 95% for cut tolerance good point i missed that im so use to to how i have mine set
  19. did you try a different size tool to see if it would work? (.249 ball) i drip off of ata cards so i dont really pay much attention to the code where is peon to chime in on this WAKE UP PEON!
  20. did you try min arc rad of .005 to see if it will give you arc output? do you normally get arc output on other toolpaths with filter on? is the geo good? (not a spline)
